Electoral Math...Palin the new Mary Richards

Barack Obama garnered an amazing 38 million households per Neilson...amazing...unreal...scary!

yet, the Election will still come down to the Electoral Map...
Keystates that will determine the next President include these 18...PA, OH, FL, MI, MO, CO, NV, WI, IO, NH, ND, MT, AK, NM, GA, NC, VA and IN...

Obama leads in PA, OH, and FL by the slightest of margins...holding slim leads also in MI, NV, NM, WI, NH, and IO.
While McCain holds slim leads to is tie in: AK, GA, NC, VA, MO, IN, CO, MT and ND.

So the largest states here, PA, OH and FL are amazingly important, but with 15 others...the race is on!

Palin helps bring women into play, who supported Obama by a 47 to 43 margin in a recent poll. So can Palin help peel off some of this advantage. Becuase if she can, it can turn this election in key battleground states.

Sarah Palin is a some town girl, who will sell well in western PA, OH, and southern States. Having the outdoor, frontier spirit it will also likely help in MT, ND, NV and CO. Her maverick and independent streak could play well in NV, NH and VA.

Most importantly, Sarah Palin will help bring women into play by being the alternative to the History Narative that has helped Obama. As she noted, the 18 Million Cracks can be shattered and blown through with her selection as the VP nominee.

Biden was chosen for two reasons, foreign policy experience and Pennsylvania. Hillary beat Obama in Ohio and Pennsylvania and Palin will help McCain to make OH and PA Red States.

Despite the amazingly well run Convention and the record audience who watched Senator Obama Thursday evening, the Palin selection places Obama in a tight box. It was white women, white men and working class American's who gave Hillary Ohio and Pennsylvania, 18 million women voters supported the second choice in the Democartic Primaries...Palin can help peel off some disgruntled women in particular...Reagan Democrats in general.

Since June the Democratic Narartive has been about a historic Campaign...they were and are right. But that Narative has the feel of a well written novel...the latest twist is the entry of a new character...the Horatio Alger charcter Sarah Palin...the hard working Hockey Mom, the PTA champion who rose to become Vice President, the small town girl going to Minneapolis tossing her beret in the air(ala Mary Richards)...I can see it already.
Cue the Song MR. Williams...
Who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it's you girl, and you should know it
With each glance and every little movement you show it

Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all

How will you make it on your own?
This world is awfully big, girl this time you're all alone
But it's time you started living
It's time you let someone else do some giving

Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all

Sarah is off to Minneapolis with John McCain...the Conservatives are in Love with Sarah. Her smile has lifted a party. Sarah, AKA Mary Richards...should enter the Convention with a beret and throw it to the throngs of adoring faithful...this will be her town, her Emmy performance...opening in D.C. on January 20th 2008...in the First Female Vice President!

I for one cannot wait for the sequel...Sarah Palin, the First Female President premiering no later than January 20th 2016...perhaps sooner!
