Typical White Person--is Barrack a Racist?

   Barrack Obama continues to want America to believe he is not like his Pastor of twenty (20) years. He wants us to believe that the comments made by his wife do not relect the acceptance in his family of the line of thinking they have been exposed to over the many years attending Trinity United. Barrack wants us to believe that his children and other children who go to this Church do not come away with a distorted or biased view of America and our Race Relations. Barrack Obama wants us to ignore the fact he allowed  his Children and others' children to be witness to these disgraceful, prejudiced and disgusting rants by Rev. Wright. Barrack wants America to see him differently than he sees his own Grandmother, whom he calls a Typical White Person...isn't this the kind of talk he claims is wrong for America...Do as a want to say, not as I say, mentality.
 
Barrack has claimed his Rev. did not influence his way of thinking, and that he found Wrights' Sermons regretable and wrong, yet he still donated incredibly large sums of money to help allow him to pontificate about such things without nary a word from Barrack. Barrack wants us to beleive he did not support his Pastors language but it should not have affected his decision to allow him to be an Advisor to the Campaign.
 
Barrack wants to lecture the American People about Race relations while calling people by the very sterotypical references he condemns, no less than the women who helped to raise him, he calls her a Typical White Person!?
 
Why is America allowing for the double standard to continue to permiate the Media Culture. Why are we the Racists, when untold Millions of American's are voting for him all over the country. Yet, black Americans are supporting him at a 90% clip. Are we to believe Race does not factor into their decisions  For some reason, we are asked to not consider this a form a racism and that it is White America that is Racist.
 
The numbers would suggest just the opposite, that Black America is experiencind and demonstrating Racism, placing it above the quality of the Candidate. Statistically, it is far to broad of support for it to be anything else.
 
Ultimately, Obama is the product of a Media unwilling to scrutinize the Black Candidate for President for many reasons. Yes, the willingness to allow for 84% positive stories to butress his Campaign reflects the Media interest in advancing the Social Issue of his Campaign over the News and unbaised approach usually expected.
 
Obama has received not the slightest scrutiny from the Media until recently, and it may be too late for the other Democratic Candidate, oh what is her name?? Obama has the ability to transcend race, but he has not shown the willingness or Character to do so. The media built thsi Campaign up to the point of Messiah and now the scrutiny is coming from the fringe.
 
We are still seeing the Kid Gloves affect wtih Obama and the allowance to not expect higher standards of his conduct.
 
Obama attended a Church led by a Racist, and Anti-American Bigot, a man who is full of rage and hate. Yet we are asked to believe that Obama and his family have not been affected by this, however, his use of Typical White Person reflects a Sterotypical View of White American's.
 
I think when Barrcak is alone and looks into the mirror he sees someone very different than we see in the Candidate Barrack.

Obama Gentleman's Agreement

Obama will be ellusive about his past if you will be...his Gentleman's Agreement...
 
Did he address the issues at hand? NO   
 
Sen. Obama spoke eloquently today about Race in Amerca, but did not address the issues he facing. In the effort to continue to deflect the seriousness of charges against his relationship and support for is Pastor, Obama avoided the underlying issue. Choosing instead to talk about loyalty to family, faith and friends, Obama did not deal with the real issue---His ability to Lead the greatest Nation on Earth.
 
A leader has to make decisions, often under great duress, and more often in the face of our enemies or crises. The Crisis that has emerged in the Obama Campaign is what kind of Man is Barrack Obama? What are his leadership Skills? And ultimately who is Barrack Obama.
 
We are told by Obama, that he is not going to abandon his Spiritual Leader, the man who Married he and his wife, and Baptised his children. WE are asked to beleive that Obama is not like his Spiritual Mentor. He attempts to equate Bad Behavior by offer other Bad Behavoir by his "white Grandmother".
 
Obama tells us that men raised in times worse than our current time should be allowed to offer Hatred and Bigotry, and that we should stand by them instead of calling them out. Obama claims to have never heard the Most Damning Sermons of Wright's, but had witnessed some he did not support. Obama tells us that because of certain facts, like Wright having experienced racism against himself, or that he has spoken to some of the most prestigeious Seminary's in the country that for some reason, he did not see it important to STAND UP AND DENOUNCE his Pastor.
 
Obama has grown up in this Church and now so have his wife and Children, among thousands of others...Are they better off for hearing Rev. Wrights rants of Bigotry and Hatred? Do they no he is a liar and wrong, and accept it for some unwriten reason, or do they beleive it?
 
What are the diffences of White verse Black Hatred, aren't they both wrongheaded?
 
Obama who was mentored under Frank Davis while in Hawaii, raised by a Mother who divorced her second husband because he was becoming too American-ized, and whose faith formation came as a disciple of Rev. Wright, wants to become the President who Unites America...
Around what, I ask?
 
While in the Illionis State Senate and the United States Senate, Obama has been regularly one of the most Liberal members. While in Illionis, he did not cross over and work with the GOP, and niether did he do so in the US Senate. Rather all 26 bills he sponsored, that passed and became Law in Illionis were in a 1 year period while the Senate President introduced only Barrack Bills. This State Senate President opined that he was Creating a Senator, while others who toiled in the process were stripped of ownership of Bills. Is this the Uniting of which he speaks.
 
Obama has offered his own Gentlemans Agreement, like the Movie, he will not talk about his past IF you don't!

The Conservative Choice?

Conservatives have a difficult choice to make in this upcoming election, or do they? Speaking to Conservatives all over the State of Florida I have found many unenthused by the McCain Campaign. They are universally opposed to the Socialism drift to Obama and Hillary. They can, to a person, recite 20 reasons it would be bad for the country if either were to become our 44th President. Libertarians and Conservatives alike are fearful of the largess of Government, the spending over the last 7 years and the prospect of even higher levels in the future, leading to Socialism.

The Conservative base can recite legislation sponsored by Senator John McCain like their phone number, McCain/Feingold, Kennedy and Lieberman and list numerous issues larger than their grocery list of things they do not like about Senator John McCain's record. The debits against the Senator are principled and long, and they find little of appreciate personally either, less the admirable and hero-like service to his nation. Oh but wait, just before you begin to make this a case of the Lesser of three evils we need to refocus and harkens back to what makes a conservative a conservative.

Conservatives and Libertarians like to view themselves as students of History and in particular the Constitution. So to engage in the debate of whether they as conservatives should work, support and engage in the election of Senator John McCain, they need to only look at what makes them what they are...

Our Constitution is a Federal Constitution not a National Constitution. Hence we have a process by which we select the nominee of our perspective Party's and that has a price. Sometimes it is the ascendency of a Barry Goldwater or Ronald Wilson Reagan but sometimes it is a Nixon, Bush or Bush, too.

Conservatives pride themselves on principles of which they will not negotiate, but unfortunately that is a luxury they cannot afford in Presidential Politics. Principles are for Primary's and too many Conservatives became too narrow and missed the opportunity to choose the Candidate that best represented their views. Often selecting one overriding issue to choose a candidate and ignoring the field of options. Perhaps the field was too large to allow the Base to choose the best choice. Perhaps the arrogance of a few Candidates superseded the need and rational to unity around the best Conservative or two to lead the movement. OR, perhaps, the Base is so divided, single issue oriented, and myopic to understand that in Presidential politics you need to build a coalition of like-mind folks to win the nomination.

History shows us that 3 major groups along with too many to count less sized groups coalesced around Ronal Wilson Reagan to help bring the landslides he achieved in 80 and 84. The dissembling of this legacy has many fathers. President Bush and Congressional Spending since 2001, Moderates in both Chambers who seek power over principle, and Conservatives who have lost touch with the need to move broader agenda's forward.

So, having lost the battle inside the party on the State level, the Conservative base has a choice to make about the future. Do they believe in Optimism or Opportunism? Do they believe in the moving their Agenda forward or complaining? Do they believe in our Constitution and our History as a Republic or do they take the short view of history and become a footnote.

**Conservative Base: a narrow group of principled Americans who did not understand that Politics and particularly Presidential politics is a game played in the paradigm of coalition building. While keeping in mind what they will negotiate and what they will not, this vibrant group rose to power in 1980 and lost political influence in 2006 when they broke apart over single issue advocacy.

This need not be the 'footnote' in history books yet written, rather Conservatives have the ability to help bring victory over the Socialist left and build the bonds that bring needed reform to the government they wish to affect. Uniting behind John McCain can provide the necessary portal to power to affect enough decisions to keep the slide to Socialism at bay a little longer. Providing the needed margin to bring a McCain Presidency to power, the reality that some issues may still be lost to Senator McCain's need to be liked by the Media Elite and Moderate America, while understanding that many issues will be protected from this slide should serve as enough of a motivator to elect Senator McCain.

It may also be time to introduce the advice mothers, all over the world, have been giving since Eve attempted to with Cain and Abel. Conservatives need to realize the GOP is a broad coalition and they need each other, killing off the other will not benefit the survivor. Rather, using the unity to win, is the only way to move the ball down the field,...For in Politics--History is written by the Victor!

Conservative have only one choice in November, Elect John McCain!

Life issues, The Court, the War on Terror and Fiscal Responsibility stand to lose should he not win...are you willing to be responsible for killing the movement forward?

The pace will be decided by the next President, if it is Obama or Hillary that pace will be in reverse, should it be Senator John McCain it may not be as rapid or as direct as Conservatives would like, but it will be directionally better. Conservative can look at a McCain Presidency as parents do a child's life...you cannot cause them to make all the right decisions but you can limit the number of bad one's they make.

Conservatives need to unite behind Senator McCain, be the margin for Victory and then work even harder than they have before, to influence his decisions in the manner they would like them decided. You may not get all you want, but you can get a seat at the table, and Political sustenance is what will allow the movement to build for the future.

Obama and his Pastor

   The Sad fact is that the TRUTH is finally emerging on who Obama is really. Obama has spent twenty (20) years with this Paster, and has contributed heavily to this Church. Interestingly, Denomination Christianity is a Pastor and/or a Pastoral view of the Bible basis from which to view this problem. Currently there are more than 36,000 denominations of Christianity, and more each day. Think of the McDonald's sign that reads X billion served or the rolling National Debt Clock when you think of Bible based Denominational Christian Churches. This is not to demean any of this Denominations for the people who practice them, rather it is to offer the evidence that IF and HAD Obama not believed and/or support the rhetoric and opinions of Rev. Wright, then he would have left and found a Church that was more suitable to his vision of Christianity.
 
OBAMA and his willingness to stay, and fund to the level he did, $22,500 in 2006, this Church supports the belief that Obama himself supported his Pastor and his Pastor world view of Christianity. Whereas, any Christian denomination member who did not support a particular Pastor would quickly leave and find a new denominational home for his faith.
 
Obama and his wife have SELECTED, SUPPORTED and PROMOTED this CHURCH and in particular this PASTOR. Evidenced by his promotion of REV. WRIGHT in his Campaign. Evidenced by his generous support for the Missions of this Pastor. Evidenced by his support of his Pastor by remaining a member and not leaving for a Pastor who better offers a world view that he shared.
 
One would have to assume that by OBAMA's actions the tacit and frankly, overt support shown by Obama towards this Pastor is genuine and real.
 
Mrs. Obama has already uttered rhetoric reminiscent to that of Pastor Wright and that apple did not fall far from the pastoral tree. Mrs. Obama's claim for the first time in her adult life she can claim pride and of being proud of this country could as easily come from a sermon offered by the Rev. Wright we have come to view and hear.
 
The hierarchical and systemic authority that binds Catholics to the Roman CatholicChurch yet can often differ from the rank and file, cannot be so easily offered Denomination Churches. While Catholics are often lukewarm or 'Cafeteria" in their beliefs and support of the Magisterium and that of the Pope due to being as much Cultural Catholics rather than "Practicing" Catholics. The same cannot be atributed to Denominational Christians, they continually have a choice, and Culture is not a basis for staying. Rather they are Pastor and Bible driven, so the way the pastor interprets the BIBLE is the demarkation of membership, not birth as it often is with Catholics.
 
Thus OBAMA's willingness to remain and reside his family in this Mega Church is de-facto support and endorsement for the views shared by the Pastor and his congregation. Seperating or surgically parsing the beliefs of the Pastor from those of the Congregation is merely an attempt to sanitize the members, but the reality is, it has and will always be there choice. By Membership in Trinity United Church of Christ you can be considered a disciple of the Rev. Jerimiah Wright and subject to his beliefs.
 
Obama chose to be a member and i do not assume to know why, for political or religious reasons, it does not matter, the fact is he was and is a member. His Pastor was Rev. Jerrimiah Wright and it is not possible for Obama to distance himself from the views he never did before running for President. If Obama did not share those views he would not have remained, donated and provided Rev. Wright a position on his Campaign. He would have have offered Rev. Wright the opportunity to present the Prayer during his Announcement for Candidacy as President of the United States, which was quickly changed...yet, not disavowed.
 
Obama is not being tarnished by a broad brush or by association, but by his own choosing and financing!

Media Lies on IRAQ/Al Qaeda continue

   The Lies by the MEDIA just continue to build as it relates to the Connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda. ABC and the other media, including the NYTIMES, were fast to claim that the Pentegon Report presented this week clears Iraq and Al Qaeda from connection to each other. The MEDIA shows great laziness at best and pure bias at worst, by ignoring the actual language of the Report. Certainly the report itself claims no support for a SMOKING GUN, but the report itself also provides numerous examples of cooperation and support between the two.
Yet, by claiming no SMOKING GUN the impression is left in the mind of the MEDIA and thus in the mind of the reader that IRAQ and Al QAEDA did not work together and in assosiation and use surrogates to propogate common goals.
 
Nothing even close can be substantiated if you care to read the report yourself, all 59 pages. Because if you choose to do your own research and not accept the MEDIA lie of the report you would find this...(thank you Steven Hayes for your insight)

Books have been writen detailing the connections and support. The facts are abundantly clear considering the vast support offered and provided by Saddam Hussein and IRAQ to various Terrorist groups including Al Qaeda and groups associated, supported and allied with them.

Surgeon General Warning---Being a Wife of a Public Official can be embarrassing

As evidenced again this week with the Democratic Governor of New York, being the wife of a public figure can be very dangerous and quit embarrassing. There really should be a Warning offered to all wives of men of influence. It seems when the MEN get in trouble, often embarrassing trouble, it is their wives who have to bear the brunt of the embarrassment. I say, what happened to opening car doors, allowing to women to enter a home, office or building first, or pulling out the chair for the women, or helping the lady into her coat? Have we replaced Chivalry with throwing the lady under the buss, so to speak? Why is it necessary for Mrs. Spitzer or Mrs. Vitter, or Mrs. McGreevy to have to stare down the camera, on stage, when they have been humiliated by their Husband?
 
Why do these men put their wives in such difficult positions? Why do men believe it is appropriate to ask their wives to hold court or stand by his side when they have fallen so far. In the case of a Politician who has strayed or a public official, it has become common operating procedure to add insult to injury and parade the wife as the ONLY harmed person and IF she is willing to stand by the MAN than WE should as constituents too.
 
So let us explore this a bit further, it is not the embarrassment caused the PUBLIC that matters, rather the willingness of the wife to be thrown to the wolves that should be considered. We can all be sure that no one would be willing to trade places with the harmed wife. None of us would want to suffer as she has and is during these all too frequent situations. So as a counter measure, the Official asks his wife to stand by him as he apologizes in public to the people, his official responsibility, his wife and his family.
 
Why has it become OK for married Politicians to expose the frailties of their marriage in public? It only brings down and causes pain for all of us...and brings on willing copy-cats. Now on prime time TV is a show that asks couples to come on and submit willingly to a lie detector test. They willingly allow themselves to be tested then asked about the results via probing questions to determine there integrity and veracity. Our Politics of lust has now crossed into Reality TV at 8pm. We used to reserve the Reality TV of marital issues for the EVENING NEWS.
 
I hope we can start a movement. We need to seek a signed pledge from politicians. They need to agree to NOT ask or allow their wives and spouses to appear on stage during a Mea Culpa on infidelity. Her is a pledge I recommend.

If I should Sully our Marriage it should not be my spouces role to have to stand in front of the bank of cameras for the world to see. I sincerely pledge my oath, for whatever it may be worth now, to work to improve my judgement and to protect my family from my actions. As a leader in my home, I pledge to not drag my family into the ugly world of the News Cycle.  Signed__________ Date____
 
It is my sincere hope that Politicians recall the days when we did not drag our families into the abyss we have dug ourselves. Man will continue to fall and fail in memorial, but Men should be taught that at some point in time, Chivalry should forbid the effort of preservation of self and replace it instead with the willingness to protect, defend and support the interests of the family.

Symbolism over Substance--so far for the DEMS

The meteoric rise of Obama has coincided with the realities found inside the Democratic Party today. People all over the nation are beginning to realize they do not want the Clinton's in the White House. The hangover of the Clinton years is have a heavy price and it is being seen by the heavy rush towards Obama. He represents the anti-Clinton vote as much as the willingness to accept his candidacy. This is not to say his message is not exciting and grabbing his audiences, rather it is to say that it has more to do with the Symbol of his campaign-CHANGE over the Substance of the Hillary campaign.

The SYMBOLISM of the Barrack Obama is of an exciting, young, enthusiastic well spoken man, who plays upon the LIBERAL and HUMANISTIC willingness to qualify the hope of us all to move past the racism of our past. Liberals in particular want to be able to say I voted for a Black Man for President irrespective of whether he is the best candidate. Obama, however, has shown to be a very good candidate, but one yet to be challenged due to his blackness.

The historic moment we are experiencing is also replete with problems. One of which is that we are seeing a FEAR in the media to really scrutinize his record thus far. The KIT gloves approach has allowed for him to be protected, and the attacks from the Clinton machine has appeared to be and depicted as smears.

The Media has left him alone, allowing for him to rise unabated. But Why?

Because they love to see there principles attained through a candidate they like, and Barrack is everything the liberal media likes, he fulfills there best hopes for America. Hence their reluctance to scrutinize his campaign and past. The media loves the SYMBOLISM of what Barrack represents to them and liberal America.

Whereas, Hillary embodies the sparks that ignited the Republican Revolution and the Bush years. She and her husband embody the SUBSTANCE of the corruption and the decline of ethics in the recent past. The things that most Americans hate about Washington is what the Clinton's are.

The SUBSTANCE of corruption in D.C. is what Americans want to distance themselves from, all the infighting and investigations that pepper the last decade and half. This is the Clintons, and people are tired of it everywhere.

So the Symbolism of Liberalism as it is found in Barrack Obama is winning the day against the Substance of the Clinton years...and people everywhere are accepting it. The willingness to see all roses and candy in the light of Obama's eyes is blinding the media and democrats, if it is necessary to separate the two, and propelling him to the pinnacle of politics.

All this Messianic anointing of Obama as the cure for all the ills of our past has allowed him to move through this usual gauntlet without the slightest of bruises. Obama has enjoyed the easiest run for President in any one's memory, all because he is a black man.

I ask what has Barrack accomplished in his 46 years? It is not his impressive list of accomplishments that have vaulted him to the center of the political universe, because they are neither impressive nor extra ordinary but rather because he is the embodiment of the what Liberals hold dear--Symbolism over Substance.



So this primary has become a case of Symbolism over Substance

Politics of CHANGE

Obama's politics of Change is more of the same...

Barrack Obama likes to talk about Change from the politics of usual...the same bitterness of partisanship. He likes to point out that we need a candidate and President who will not look at the Party platform but rather look toward solutions to bring the Nation together. Often his rhetoric is that the CHANGE we need is to distance ourselves from the way the Dems and GOP have played partisan politics for there gain and the Nations loss...breaking us down rather than bringing us todgether. His best Rodney King impersonation.

However, he has, in his short time, been rated by both Liberal and Conservative think tanks and publications as either the most liberal or nearly the most liberal member of the Senate. He has not worked in non-partisan circles to advance solutions rather he has played the role of pure partisan as a member of the Senate.

Obama's record is replete with partisan stances in issues of importance and real need for bi-partisanship. A look at his short Senate records shows a man who has sat in the far left seat of the Senate while John McCain has taken all the arrows from his conservative base to find that middle ground on issues Barrack holds to his Liberal and Politics as Usual role.
 
Obama sites the possibility of selecting Chuch Hagel as an example of a person he would select to fill a vacancy in his Cabnet should he become President. Here is one Conservative, who sees this as Reason 6073 to vote against Obama!

In fact, McCain not Obama represents the REAL reformer from the Politics as Usual. McCain has a record of working across the aisle and working to form bi-partisan coalitions on Campaign Finance, Immigration, Evironmental and Budgetary issues.

The Media has yet to bring out the facts on Obama's past and purely partisan behavior during his brief stint in the Senate. Additionally, Obama also proved weak-kneed while in the Illionis Legislature by voting 'present' rather than taking serious stands on important issues.

So if you want a REFORMER, a person who is not going look at someone's voter ID card before beginning cordial discussions, and who will reach across the aisle to solve the issues of our day, look no further than John McCain. If you are looking for a Candidate who has experience dealing with issues that require serious and sound judgement, one who has been tested under fire and has worked with whomever is needed to solve an important problem, HIS name is John McCain.

Saving BASEBALL

Baseball has been in the News because of the Steroid use and Roger Clemens...But the media Frenzy over Congressional Investigations has opened the unseemly underbelly of Baseball for all to see. Yet, despite having a wonderful Tax Break from Congress, the rank and file fan does not see or understand the role CONGRESS has with Baseball. Remember the title--America's Game.
 
So while Steroids forces Olympic Stars to hand in their Gold Medals and prevents runners from competing, Baseball gets its Congressional Hearings. The efforts to perserve the intregrity of Olympic Sports is admirable, but for Baseball what is the solution?
 
 
 
Baseball has suffered under the leadership of Bud Selig, despite the gross revenues of the sport.

From the strike in 93, to the use of steroids and other performance enhancers, to inequities in salaries the sport has continued to lose the favor with the growing population of Americans. Yes, they have experienced great increases in revenue and profits, but they have lost a great many more that they could have had otherwise.

But how to fix it...

First, Baseball should accept the role Management played in the quite endorsement of Cheating by the players, under the willing but delightfully blissful eyes of the owners...So to fix it, the Owners should finance a campaign, a 15 year campaign to enter High Schools and little leagues all over the nation to explain the consequences of using performace enhancing drugs of all kinds. Fund this program for a generation of children to ensure the double message, of realativism is not allowed to subsist in baseball at any level.

Second, re-align the division inside each league based upon the payroll average of the last few years. We can assign the two previous years or a rolling average. The goal would be to allow clubs to keep all profits, no more profit sharing, but in liu of this...these clubs would have to compete on more equitably apportioned playing field.
The Yanks, Red Sox and other first market teams would allign the top division while the likes of the Royals and Rays would populate the more modestly spending teams. Likewise the the two leagues would then be split along a balance that spending no longer becomes the path to the playoffs, and it allows for fans everywhere to begin the next season with a reasonable expectation that the season is not lost before it even begins.

Finally, the players who have chosen to take products to enduce enhancement of performance that is not would suffer from the all important Astrick...***. Major League Baseball should include the * for all records accumulated from 1992 through 2006. By qualifying these years the players will see the product of their efforts not totally excluded just qualified.
Ulitmately, mabe the players would be enduced to police themselves for the sake of the records they seek to make over there careers.
By pointing out that records during this era cannot be fully from scrutiny we must therefore qualify the era as the performance enhanced era...allow them to enter the Hall of Fame, but under the same umbrella.
This tainted image will be left for all to see in the future but not exclude them from what they may have truly acheived without outside help. It will leave the mark without tarnishing the record allocation in the books.
Future players may be served by discourageing and not condoning the actions of teammates for the sake of personal glory, for the risk of the game.

I propsoe these three elements and reforms to be added to preserve and protect the game I loved as a child. realativism has not only creaped into our lives in school, work, family but also sports., and I propose we slam that door shut!

Making Peace inside the Democratic Primary

The time has come for the DEM candidates to live up to the Rhetoric they have spewed over the last many years as it relates to negotiating with our enemies. They are uniquely placed to do just such a thing, to negotiate with our enemies. For nearly the entire Bush Presidency, the DEMS have bemoaned the fact that this administration has been unwilling to negotiate with likes of North Korea, Iran, and other nefarious fellows. Today, they have the unique and sole possibility to live up to their own demands, their own rhetoric.

Currently Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton are nearly tied in the race to the Democratic nomination for President. Neither can win the coveted prize without the others help, or the most unheard and unlikely slide in one or the others favor in the waning days of the primary by nearly a 10 to 1 margin. This is not going to happen!

So, as we look to the potential options left on the table for Barrack and Hillary, we find a fight for Super Delegates as option one. But this option has a very ugly downside for both candidates. They can conceivably break the party in two and ensure a McCain Presidency.

Option two is a negotiated Peace.
The willingness of either or both to negotiate with the enemy of America, the other candidate.

This could be a test to see if the rhetoric spewed by the DEMS and these two candidates is worth its weight in pudding. Can either show the willingness to negotiate from a place of moderate to no advantage and bring abut a settlement that benefits both, or do they continue to blow smoke up the collective buttocks of America.

Obama, in particular, believes it is important to negotiate with the likes of Iran to secure our peace. Does he also see the import to negotiate with Hillary to save his party?

Can either swallow the arrogance of their campaign and begin the negotiating to bring this War of Words to an end without anymore bloodshed of fellow Democrats? Can either find it within themselves to sacrifice for the common good as Mrs. Obama and Mr. Clinton have long argued as it relates to the rest of the country?

Today, looking out upon the landscape of Democratic Politics you see the likelihood of stronger and deeper attacks, particularly from Hillary. While Obama has the long view to stay above the fray, can he seriously believe that he can?

Is the collective egos of Obama and Clinton so entrenched that they cannot see the damage awaiting the bloody battle ahead? The senior Senator of Florida has cautioned about a "Train wreck" ahead should this not be resolved soon.

All the puff media and favorable media received by both candidates between Mid-December and Mid-February will begin to decline and the media will be forced to deal with reality should the two begin the final campaign towards nomination. During the Dec through Feb period, Obama received 83% favorable coverage from network news while Hillary received 53% favorable. These numbers are likely to reverse themselves should they begin the trench warfare that is likely to occur should the negotiated peace not begin soon.

No longer will the biased media coverage be able to steer the reports on the candidates and the result will be bloody. The loss of control of the message beaming out from Network headquarters will be followed by a rapid decline in the favorable appeal of both candidates and it will result in an increase for McCain.

Thus, the only conclusion that can be made is one of a Negotiated Peace Settlement. Luck are we, that we have heard just last week that Hillary was instrumental in bringing Peace to Northern Ireland. We now can sit and watch the grown ups in the room make the tough decisions the current Administration failed to do...Make peace with our Enemies...

The time has come for the rubber to meet the road. We need to see the rhetoric move to action and the Symbolism find its Substance. We need Hillary and Obama to bring themselves to the big Mahogany Table with Claw feet and negotiate the Peace to save the Democratic Party.

If they cannot do it for the Party, at least think of the Children!
